On Seagull's Wings

Well a couple of posts ago I said I would share images from my recent visit to Stepping Stone Falls. Well I haven't done that for the last week, so I decided that I should hold true to my promise. Here is a beautiful sky from that trip. And again I have captured seagull in flight. I like seeing these birds soaring around and floating as they hover over something that could be lunch. I know many think of them as a nuisance as they tend to frequent parking lots but for some unknown reason who knows why I can sit and watch them even in a parking lot.

To view more Sky Watch photos visit Wigger's World.

Beautiful calm evening.

Seagulls are okay if they are far away, just like here!

I love this - there is something so wistful and beautiful about seeing a bird fly across the vast sky.

Unfortunately Tom is on bed rest today and for the first time you are stuck with me. I have my orders to visit as many as I can, and make sure the links are working and everyone is being good. I am sure you are all being good.
Tom and I thank you for Sky-Watching this week. I am sure that as soon as Tom's heart beat settles down he will be back here and visiting.

Beautiful Sky Watch picture! I love the contrasting colors and streaky cloud formations. I think the seagull in your photo gives the sky a sense of distance. I like the so-called "nuisance" birds too - both seagulls and crows. They are fascinating to watch and very clever. Wonderful post! Enjoy your weekend. :)

Christy: Love your Sky photo, it is really expressive.
BTW: Thanks for seeing the man and dog in the clouds. You really got it.

Beautiful layers of clouds. And I'm with you on the seagulls. I love watching them. We have pigeons here (in our yard, even), and I would never compare the two. I know they get the same wrap a lot, but seagulls are just fun to watch.

I like seagulls. This is so pretty! I enjoyed your previous posts, too. Thanks for visiting my Sandpiper blog while I've been sick. I'm very far behind, but I hope to try and catch up some this week. It will take me a little time to get back into a routine again. Have a great weekend.
