Pink Passion

I received a tulip plant as a thank you gift from my son's school.  We took it outside and well it was a good thing that I took pictures at that time because it only took a short time and all the petals were blown off from the wind.  Such a beautiful plant I look forward to its blooms next Spring.

Shimmering Satin

My bargain flowers that we bought the other day. We splurged and bought cut flowers, two half dozen bundles for $1.49 a piece. They were so pretty, I couldn't resist. And for $3.00 I was able to beautify my home for a brief time period. I still look at the grocery store every now and then to see if there are any more bargains like this to be found.

Here are some of the flower images that were overlooked over the last few months of posting. I really am pushing this warm thoughts thing. So far, it is not working. Some of these images have similar ones posted already but these are other pictures that I like just as well.

Standing Tall

This little tulip was the only one in the flower bed. It was standing there all by itself among other plants but not another tulip to be found. I was instantly drawn into the flower. It stood out against the bark with the petals of deep purple that look like a velvety-satin. A beautiful masterpiece to be found out in nature left by our God and creator to be enjoyed.
