The Beauty of Fall

The colors were all so beautiful, last week. There was still so much green, last week. Fall was clearly at its best, last week. Okay maybe I am a bit bitter here. But I just did not get to enjoy my fall color as much as I had hoped. In my area, most of the leaves have fallen off of the trees now. It is mostly bare stark branches in view now. There is still some color but not as much as I would still like to see. At least I have the birthdays of my boys to look forward here for the next two weeks. Then it is holiday fever, Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities and gatherings. I do enjoy this time of year. I just like for my color to stay around and linger.

Don't we all?Fall colors come and go too quickly,so we need to look for beauty in every season.I will admit that sometimes I have to look harder than at other times.Your pictures are lovely, looks like you were out at just the right time.

Christy: I love to see the woods this time of the year with Mother Nature truely showing her best.

I was stunned by your comment and it had to be the best comment ever. I'm having computer problems today, so I haven't gotten around the to see the sky shows. I will do it tonight and tomorrow from home. Thank you very much and I am encouraged from what you said.

It IS difficult when the two most beautiful seasons (in most places--Spring here is not so great) is so short. I like bare trees, but just a week longer of red, yellows and oranges would be nice.

Your photos for the post below are spectacular!
