These first three images were taken within a minute. They were all taken on October 17 at 11:01am. I was dumbfounded looking at the images because I do not remember seeing a plane go by overhead. It just goes to show that a lot can change in a very short time.
This last image is from the same day about two minutes later. It is of a different tree. I actually had no clue what this image would come out like when taking it. I reached my arm out the car window and blindly took a picture of the tree that was overhead. Before you freak out, we were parked in my in-laws driveway for all of these images. We were dropping off Chloe, our Cocker Spaniel, before we went on our overnight getaway to the Jollay Apple Orchard in Coloma, MI.

Sky Watch Friday #2
I love your photos they are amazing. Great fall color
Happy SWF!
I have experienced the changing picture phenomenon a few times also.
I took a series of photos of a flower and looked at them later to find a bee in the center.
..I don't know where my mind was during that shot
Nice to see these colors as I'm looking at bare trees today!
These pictures are a nice reminder of the colors of fall.I love how most of the tree is green but it has a colorful top.
Christy: Neat skies with the multi-colored tree. Amazing that you never saw the plane.
That tree looks very pretty.
I was just looking on a Michigan Photo Blog and came across your blog, so I thought I'd drop in. Then I noticed you participate Skywatch. I live in Michigan too. Northeastern to be exact, where we are flooded with deer hunters this weekend.
That's so neat how you never saw the plane... but then that's happened to me too so I'm not really super surprised! I've had boats zoom past me in the water when I was taking mountain pictures at the lake... haha...
Great pictures!!!! =)

What a beautiful sky. And the trees are gorgeous, too. (And for the record, I see nothing wrong with aiming a camera out a window while driving!)
