Silken Rose Petals

This rose is from the bouquet sent to the funeral home for my dad. The UAW sent these along with a Bible. These roses were beautiful and they reminded my mom of the bouquet of artificial roses that my dad had gotten her not to long ago. The artificial roses had watermarks on the petals that read "I Love You" on them. So when she looked at this bouquet of cut roses she was reminded of those words "I Love You".

It saddens me to read about the passing of your dad. Perhaps you can dry some of those flowers and save them in a pretty jar. Peace to you.
