Revisit of Augusta and Sepia Scenes

I have been following the sepia scenes meme for a while and this is my first time participating. This image comes from a set of photos that I took this past fall. The original post on this trail can be found HERE. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year to take pictures. This image in particular really seemed to lend itself to this type of processing. I hope everyone enjoys.

Both are beautiful in sepia! The first one reminds me of a forest that should be in a fairy tale!

Hi Christy,
Wonderful shot! I looked at the original with the Frost poem - superb choice.
That poem is a favorite since childhood so any 'woods' image brings my mind too it.
The sepia really draws your eye to the sunlight beaming down.
I encourage readers to enlarge it.

I love your sepia scene. It looks mysterious or enchanted.

Sepia is nice for a change and works better on some photographs than others. I like the ones you have used.

Your layout is very nice. I never saw this one before. It fits the sepia scene theme.

BTW there was a lot of info on the Big 3 yesterday on CNN and again last evening on MSNBC.

Your sepia wood looks inviting for a quiet walk.
Think I can hear the late birds sing,
and the leaves rattling under my feet.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Christy, I really love this scene and it look very nice in sepia too! I like the layers of leaves all the way up & the leaves on the ground - I agree w/ Dot - it really DOES look enchanted, like a scene straight out of a mystery book.

I always like these images with a path and the path goes off too infinity. It draws your eye in the path. Nice shot!

These are beautiful, and the sepia enhances the nostalgic feeling.

I think you are right about it looking good in sepia. It gives it more of a mysterious look--like a secret pathway.
