This week has been a great one so far. Spending time with family building memories. However yesterday was a bit different start. I dropped my hubby off at the job site he was working on and as we were chatting before I left he noticed a small bird in the grass. My brother-in-law who was also working went over and picked up the bird. The bird was more than comfortable perched on his hand. Well needless to say I had to go take a closer look. I walked over and he handed/scooted the bird over to me. I hollered at my hubby to grab my camera from the car. This little guy just sat there while I snapped away. We noticed a few other small birds being coached by an American Goldfinch. We had identified our bird! As guilty as I felt for handling this little guy, I realized when I was leaving that where I had to turn my vehicle around is the same area that we found him, we quite possibly rescued him from being accidentally being run over. Here are some of the pics I got of my little friend.
This is a creative outlet for me. I enjoy photography and enjoy showing it to others. Feel free to leave a comment, I do appreciate feedback.
I truly think that there is more beauty in imperfection than perfection, for it is the imperfect things that truly make us beautiful. --me

Raindrop
So I came home on Mother's Day to finish editing a photo session only to open my laptop and have the hard drive crash. Thankfully I have all my original images saved in other places. I did however lose much of my edited work. I am slowly figuring out what all I still have to replace. Hoping to recover much off my hard drive but can't do anything for a few months until the finances are there to do so if it is even possible. I'm just thankful that a simple replacement of the hard drive was all it took to get my laptop going again. Here is one of my recent attempts at photographing water drops. I had fun taking these images.

Frosted Tree Branch
Well, hello there. I know it has been a long time since I've posted. Being a mom, PTO treasurer, and a regular volunteer at my boys' school has kept me super busy.
Hope the holidays were good for everyone; I know we were blessed beyond any expectations this year. God is always good.
And for your viewing pleasure a close up look at the beauty there is for us to behold!
