I am in awe of butterflies. They have got to be one of my most favorite things. I love trying to get pictures of them flying free in nature, but sometimes as in the case of this picture they don't necessarily have to be a live butterfly. The flowers are real though. These all came from an arrangement from my gran-granny's funeral. I found the image to be very beautiful. I love the angle putting my emphasis to the butterfly and the flowers as sort of an afterthought to the picture. Also this butterfly will essentially last forever and the flowers will fade away with time.
